In her current role as manager of power application branding for FedEx, Laura Fortenberry leads a team that has a varied and diverse range of responsibilities as pertains to managing the FedEx global brand. Included among these are managing the branding and communications associated with company's EarthSmart program which encompasses sustainability and corporate citizenship efforts. Fortenberry and her team also ensure global consistency for physical applications of the FedEx brand by leading the global vision and strategy for the design of branded environments, vehicles, packaging, uniforms and sponsorship properties. This includes the management of integrating and extending the FedEx brand globally when it comes to international acquisitions and service expansions. In addition to these activities, Fortenberry oversees FedEx brand measurement and metrics which includes global brand health tracking research as well as brand valuation studies and modeling.
