Mark Solomon is the senior editor of DC Velocity. He has worked in the transportation industry since 1983 as a journalist and public relations professional. Solomon started at Traffic World magazine in 1983 and joined the Journal of Commerce in 1989 as an associate editor covering transportation. In 1994, he launched a public relations firm, Media-Based Solutions, which represented clients in the transportation, logistics and financial services industries. Solomon returned to his journalism roots in 2008 in his current role with DC Velocity.
